Hi, I’m Nefertiti Khemet Goudjayi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I want to spread the support and love I received as a child to other youth, so that they have a chance to grow!

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW. I have worked in community mental health for over ten years and decided to start my own center to use my education and experience to support my community. My goal is to be part of the solution to end the School-To-Prison Pipeline and reduce the recidivism rate of African American youth in Sacramento.

my Experience

I have lived in Sacramento since I was in middle school. The middle school I attended was called John Morse and my highschool experience was at Hiram Johnson West Campus. I graduated from Wheelock College for my undergrad and California State University, Sacramento in 2016 with my Masters. My family and I are very close and they have been an integral piece to my success. My mother started a clinic with other Sacramento providers and I became certified as a Medical Assistant in their clinic. Since then, I have continued the tradition of working in non-profit community centers. I have worked for over ten years in the mental health field. During my career I have also worked in LGBTQ friendly spaces and identify as queer myself. Most of my career has been spent learning about the effects of trauma on youth and their families. I have had training in CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Exposure Therapy, and TF-CBT. For a full history of my work experience, see the linkedin and Resume links below.
